Miserable song lyrics I wrote in 2010

We were two travelers
two hungry scavengers
didn't know we were lonely
Until we weren't alone
and we marveled as we looked back down the foggy road we took to get here

Now it’s a long road

to where you belong

Concepts and words, spoken, and sung,
just poured from our fingers, we never saw danger coming,
as the music spun around us, tying and bound us, entangled our paths,
laying out a new map to where we could go
but we'll never know

til the meanings change to the songs
cause they still make me think of you

The calendar turns and the
clock hands keep going
and my head keeps turning round and round
over and over, up and down
but I'm not moving anywhere.
I wish you were still here

But the space isn't empty
the air is still heavy with your
energy the memories
still seem so real
I can still feel
